“Bangladeshi Youth are Curious and Creative”: Cultural Affairs Adviser

Bangladeshi youth are curious and creative, and if such creativity is channelled toward safe and reliable platforms, it could offer an avenue of problem-solving and innovation Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki said.

He made this comment on Monday while underlining the official launch of a new feature “STEM Feed” by TikTok at the event of Dhaka. Mr Farooki claimed that learning could be fun and more efficient, thanks to the new feature.

The STEM Feed feature will allow users to access content specifically tailored for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics separately. Several high-ranking government officials, facilitators, and TikTok representatives attended the event.

They expressed hope that, with the launch of STEM, the platform has established a more secure learning environment for all students. The feature will allow students from even remote or urban áreas to access quality education in both underprivileged communities, the speakers said.
