Spotify, Canva in the ChatGPT app

The company behind ChatGPT, OpenAI, said users will also be able to use Spotify, Canva and other third-party apps directly inside the app. During a ‘DevDay’ event recently, it announced one new feature which is enabled by its new ‘Apps SDK’. Some examples are: someone asking ChatGPT – ‘Spotify create a playlist for my Friday party’ where the app will begin organising the playlist based on the user’s mood or theme, with Spotify’s help. Upon actual use, user needs to input its chatGPT account. Once a playlist has been generated, an interface will direct the user to the regular Spotify app in order to listen to the songs. Canva, too, will allow users to chat with ChatGPT about creating posters. The ChatGPT app integrates with other apps like Spotify, Canva, Coursera, Figma and Zillow. DoorDash, OpenTable, Target and Uber will be added in the next few weeks.
