Is  the second closest galaxy to our own Milky Way galaxy and is visible to the naked eye in dark skies. It is about 2.75 million light-years away and lies about halfway between Mirach and Hamal. M33 will likely collide with M31 shortly before colliding with our Milky Way galaxy. However, there is a small chance that our galaxy will swallow it first or that M33 will escape destruction by escaping the two larger galaxies.M33, the Triangulum Galaxy ( https://astrobob.areavoices.com/2019/05/20/find-the-triangulum-galaxy-this-week/ ): the third closest galaxy to our own Milky Way galaxy, it is visible to the naked eye only in dark skies.
