Snapchat launches two new features
Snapchat, popular among teenagers, has rolled out two highly requested features. With “Infinite Retention”, chats will no longer disappear automatically — users can now keep conversations saved indefinitely, just like other messaging apps. The other person will get a notification when this feature is turned on.
The second feature, “Group Streaks”, allows multiple friends to maintain streaks together in a group. Even if a streak breaks, users will have up to one week to restore it.
According to tech site Engadget, these features were tested last year and have now been officially launched for all users after receiving positive feedback.
